PLAP (Placental Alkaline Phosphatase)

PLAP (Placental Alkaline Phosphatase)

Ref: AP10211C – Clone: SP15 – Host: Rabbit – Method: P – Format: Concentrated

SKU: AP10211C Category: Tag:

Rabbit monoclonal (PLAP) reacts with a membrane-bound isoenzyme (Regan and Nagao type) of Placental Alkaline Phosphatase occurring in the placenta during the 3rd trimester of gestation. This antibody is highly specific to PLAP and shows no crossreaction with other isoenzymes of alkaline phosphatases. It is useful in the identification of testicular germ cell tumors. Unlike germ cell tumors, PLAP-positive somatic cell tumors uniformly express epithelial membrane antigen (EMA).

Clone: SP15
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: Recombinant protein encoding human placental alkaline phosphatase.
Staining pattern: Cell membrane.
Positive control: Tissue sample from placenta or seminoma.

This antibody is designed for the specific localization of human PLAP using IHC techniques in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
