Human malignant neoplasms reject antibodies which are recognized by patients for autologous transplant, directed and specific tumor, cytolytic, CD8 + lymphocyte T clones. An important antibodies group is codified by MAGE family genes. It was identified that melanomas and primary glial brain tumors express common antibodies to associated melanoma. Due to MAGE-1 is expressed in a significant percentage in several human neoplasms from various histological types (melanoma, brain glial origin, neuroblastoma, no microcytic lung cancer, mammary, gastric, ovary colorectal, renal cell carcinoma) and not in normal tissues, the codified antigen can serve like an early detection marker and a target for the cancer immunotherapy.

Clone: 6C1
Isotype: IgGa
Immunogen: Recombinant protein correspondent to the complete sequence of the MAGE-1 human protein.
Staining pattern: Cytoplasmic and occasionally nuclear.
Positive control: Tissue sample from hepatocellular carcinoma or testis.

This antibody is designed for the specific localization of human MAGE-1 using IHC techniques in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
