hCG b (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin)

Ref: AP10229 – Clone: Polyclonal – Host: Rabbit – Method: P – Format: Ready to use

SKU: AP10229 Category: Tag:

Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a protein which is secreted by normal trophoblasts. It appears in minimum quantities in urine and serum under normal conditions, it increases considerably during pregnancy. hCG is composed by two polypeptide chains linked by no covalent bindings, named chain O and B. α subunit is almost identical to thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH).
The antibody reacts specifically with the hCG β chain. There is not cross reaction with FSH, LSH or MSH detected.

Isotype: IgG.
Immunogen: hCG protein.
Staining pattern: Cytoplasmic.
Positive control: Tissue sample from placenta.

This antibody is designed for the specific localization of human hCG b using IHC techniques in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
