SUMMARY, EXPLANATION AND LIMITATIONS:
This monoclonal antibody recognize a non-identified antigen in mature granulocytes cytoplasma.
Staining pattern: Cytoplasmic.
Positive control: Tissue sample from tonsil.
This antibody is designed for the specific localization of human granulocytes using IHC techniques in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
This antibody reacts with the mature and precursor myeloid cells. Myeloid cells markers are useful for identifying different levels of cell differentiation. BM-2 is useful for detecting myeloid leukemias and granulocytic sarcomas. This antibody does not show reactivity with other cell type in human tissues. It can be used like a granulocyte marker in normal tissues or inflammatory processes.
