CD205 (Renal Cell Carcinoma Marker)

CD205 (Renal Cell Carcinoma Marker)

Ref: AP10253C – Clone: SPM487 – Host: Mouse – Method: P,F – Format: Concentrated

SKU: AP10253C Category: Tag:

CD205, known as renal carcinoma marker and gp200 is a membrane glycoprotein. In normal kidney, gp200 is localized along the brush border from straights and outlined proximal tubule segments, as well as focally along the luminal surface from Bowman’s capsule, adjacent to the proximal tubule. Gp200 is also localized in the luminal surface from mammary lobules and ducts and from the epididymis tubular epithelia, in the parathyroid and parenchymal cells cytoplasm, and focally inside the thyroid follicles colloid.

Clone: SPM487
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: Recombinant gp200 human protein.
Staining pattern: Cell membrane and cytoplasmic.
Positive control: Tissue sample from renal carcinoma or kidney.

This antibody is designed for the specific localization of human CD205 using IHC techniques in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
This antibody is useful for detecting the gp200 membrane glycoprotein, which is expressed 93% in primary renal carcinomas and 84% in metastatic.
